Bad to the Bone

We live in Alaska. So most often we shoot outside, in the middle of the most spectacular backdrop available. Every now and then we get an itch to try something a little different, especially when were are working with children, it’s the middle of March, 5 degrees out and we are oveeeerrr winter.

So last month we bought a bunch of temporary tattoos, hand-pasted a bazillion newspapers to the wall, cranked up the Kidz Bop and had an amazing time photographing our Bad to the Bone session. These kiddos were amazing, and totally into it! (P.S. If you ever have a hard time getting your children to want to have photos taken, throw in some tattoos! It’s pretty much magic!)

Here are just a handful of our edits. We loved this so much it might just have to become an annual tradition when we are singing the winter blues.
